Every first Wednesday of the month at Community we throw a party!

Community is the name of the plaza where NARANJITA is located.

Community is a grassroots effort by locals to bring Orange County a fulfilling destination for the design, environmental, and socially conscious consumer.

It's a special place that houses many equally special shops, and every first Wednesday of each month the shops stay open late, other vendors arrive to sell their gourmet food or wares, a foodtruck comes, a dj "spins", artists display their art and often a crafting event will happen or a flamenco mob will surprise you - basically we throw a party to gather the Community. We call our event:

Each FIRST WEDNESDAY is unique.

For example the FIRST WEDNESDAY in December is a very different gathering from the one in July. From photos with Santa Claus & Holiday decorations to popsicles and ping pong - each event is one-of-a-kind, and often they have a theme. April's FIRST WEDNESDAYS' theme was GROW which incorporated local produce & farmers, and children and families.  Each shop has their own interpretation of the themes. 

And the best part - everyone's invited!
